Question

What is the dress code? Any particular colors you want us to avoid?

Answer

Formal attire please! The groomsmen will be wearing dark navy and the bridesmaids will be wearing mauve and dusty rose.

We have kids, what about them?

Answer

We love your kids! Unfortunately, we only have a certain amount of seating available for the venue and we ask you to leave any children not accounted for in your invitation at home. We look forward to celebrating you all together on a later date in private as newlyweds!

Question

We really would like to give you gifts for the occasion, how can we do that?

Answer

Two options for you all! Firstly, we will have the traditional registry available on our website! We understand that it can be a handful with certain items or difficult to navigate so feel free to pool together with other guests to make the process and gifting more manageable. Alternatively, we will have a site where we can leave us messages and provide funds to our housing fund! Again, there is no pressure from us at all and we are simply glad for you all to join us in the occasions to celebrate our union!(:

So, I've got a plus-one. Is there a policy for that?

Answer

Unfortunately, we only have a certain amount of seating available for the venue and we have had to make difficult decisions to choose specific individuals join. For some who are not accounted for in the invitations, we ask that you meet us at a different date. We look forward to celebrating you all together on a later date in private as newlyweds!

We need to be aware of handicap accessibility, what are things we should look out for in the venue?

Answer

Both the Wedgewood venue and the St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church venue has handicap parking available and will be fully wheelchair accessible.

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

There will be TWO ceremonies for the day prior to the reception. 1. Firstly at 12:30pm, at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church - Irvine for the Catholic Christian ceremony. 2. Secondly at 4:00pm, at Wedgewood Weddings - Aliso Viejo for the on-site wedding ceremony.

Will the ceremony and reception be at different locations?

Answer

The first ceremony will be at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church at Irvine which will be off-site. This will be optional for those interested and/or not of the Catholic faith. The second ceremony will be at Wedgewood Weddings at Aliso Viejo which will be on-site alongside the reception site.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church ceremony will be indoors. The Wedgewood ceremony will be outdoors. The cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will be indoors.

What should I expect AFTER the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a 2.5 hour gap between the St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church ceremony as well as the Wedgewood ceremony so please have a transition plan from one venue to the other. There is no food provided between both venues so please be sure to have snacking plans. From the Wedgewood ceremony, it will be a short walk next door to the designated cocktail area which will be adjacent to the reception location.

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking will be EASY at the venue! For both locations, there are plenty of available parking. Unfortunately, there are no specific transportation accomodations so please plan accordingly.

I have dietary restrictions, what's the best way to communicate that with you?

Answer

Please go ahead and reach out directly to Rachael if you have any dietary needs once you receive the invitation and RSVP. Her number will be available at the invitation.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar at certain hours of the wedding receptions and cocktail hour. Please have some cash in hand for tips as needed as well as the "money dance".

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

For both ceremonies, we ask that everyone bask in the moment and celebrate with us to the fullest capacity. Therefore, we ask that you NOT take any pictures and videos once the ceremony starts. We will have professional photographers and videographers available to capture the moment and we will make sure everyone has an opportunity to get their posts in after! :)
