His Story: I asked Nicole out on a date one night, she laughed in my face. Years later... Her Story: Jason and I have mutual friends, and bonded over a conversation about traveling. I had recently returned from my trip to Dubai and Jason was thinking about a flight to Greece. I was so excited to talk to him about his plans, that I eagerly gave him my number and offered to help. I patiently waited for his text... which never came. A couple weeks later, Jason and I ran into each other. Naturally, I marched up to him and said, "thanks for texting me." As the night went on and our friends were taking their fun to another location, our friend Brittany encouraged Jason to hop into the car with me (solid wing woman). As we approached our destination, we both agreed that we would much rather be eating waffles instead of partying. So, off we went to a local diner. That night, Jason finally found the courage to text me -- then went silent. Luckily, I had his number and a few weeks later I reached out about going to the diner again. Jason didn't respond until the next day (shocking, I know). Instead, he suggested dinner at Bambolina; our first official date -- "...where you arrived 45 minutes late." - Jason.
