New York Airport Information
We can't wait to celebrate our special day with you in South Salem, New York! For the smoothest arrival, we highly recommend Newark Liberty Airport (EWR) for potentially more flight options and often competitive fares. To help you plan your journey, here's a quick guide to nearby airports: Newark Liberty Airport, New Jersey (EWR): (1-1.5 hr drive) This major airport offers a wide variety of domestic and international flights, making it a convenient choice for many travelers. While it's a bit further, the increased flight availability can often outweigh the extra travel time. Westchester County Airport (HPN): (20-30 min drive) If you prefer a smaller, more local airport with primarily domestic flights, HPN is an option. However, flight choices may be more limited. JFK/LaGuardia, New York City (LGA): (1.5-2 hr drive) These are large NYC airports with numerous flights, but please be aware of potential city traffic which can significantly increase your travel time.

Train
Train (NYC to CT)
For our out-of-town guests considering train travel, the most convenient starting point is New York City. From Grand Central Terminal in NYC, you have a couple of options depending on your final destination: To reach Hotel Zero Degrees in Danbury, CT: Take the Metro-North Railroad's Harlem Line towards Southeast. Get off at Southeast Station. From Southeast, take a short taxi or ride-sharing service (e.g., Uber, Lyft) to the hotel in Danbury, CT. To reach the Wedding Venue in South Salem, NY: Take the Metro-North Railroad's Harlem Line towards Southeast (the same line as for Danbury!). Get off at Goldens Bridge Station. Le Chateau is a short taxi or ride-sharing (Uber/Lyft) trip from the station. Important Notes: We highly recommend booking your train tickets in advance, especially if traveling on a weekend. Check schedules and purchase tickets through the MTA TrainTime app or website. Please allow ample travel time, especially when relying on connecting taxi or ride-sharing services from the train stations.
