Matt and Kelsey met the same way everyone meets around a global pandemic...online! (Thank you, Hinge!) They both hated the dating apps and had horrible luck, until they didn't. Kelsey and Matt talked via text for about a month before they met in person. In fact, they ALMOST met up at Rodeo in 2022. After a few months of dating, and bringing Kelsey to a few Rogers' family river trips, Kelsey decided Matt wasn't very serious about her, so she decided she was going to move halfway across the country. When Matt learned of this decision made without his consideration, he decided it was time to make it official, and asked her to be his girlfriend on a trip to Sonoma. After that trip, Kelsey realized, oops, I may not be leaving Texas for good. After almost a year and a half of long-distance dating, they started discussions of how to make their relationship more "serious" and how to take the next steps while living in different cities. They didn't have to think long, life had other plans. Olivia was brewing and forced them to together forever! Matt popped the question a few weeks after Kelsey moved back to Houston, in his parent's backyard, with her parents and close friends present (and Liam of course). Since then, life has been full. For Kelsey and Matt, their relationship has been full of surprises (good and bad) but they have always come out stronger than ever.
