Oh, where to begin! If it wasn’t for WKU Football and mutual friends, we would not be here today. Michael and I were introduced to each other by my brother-in-law, Nick Urlage, on the streets of Nashville. One year later our paths crossed again. Michael came to a country concert in Northern KY with my sister's husband, Nick. Michael and I were then seeing more and more of each other. The past six years have been nothing short of sweet and we cannot wait to watch our story continue to unfold.
To say I was caught off guard, is an understatement. Michael and I spent our Saturday in Lexington like any other Fall weekend, at a UK football game. Following the game we made a few stops before family was coming into town. Soon enough Michael and I ended up at the Henry Clay Estate where the fields were filled with fall leaves and the sun was shining on our old KY home. It was simple, quiet, and nothing short of sweet. Michael popped the big question and we returned to his sister's house to celebrate with all of our family and closest friends-just what both of us enjoy more than anything else.
