It was April 2013, and after a date night out, neither of us wanted the night to end. Without telling me his plan (of course), Larry filled the bed of his truck with blankets and pillows, drove out to the middle of nowhere, and parked the truck in an empty field. We snuggled up under a starry sky and talked into the wee hours of the morning. It was only a month after meeting each other at a bar on St. Patrick's Day, but it was in those crisp, moonlit hours that we both knew - we had found it. We were it. It was the night it all began.
As close to the stars as we could climb (11 miles, to be exact). On the night of our wedding, it will be a waxing gibbous moon, 2 nights before the arrival of the full moon. Our goal is to recreate the feel of that night in Larry's truck - romantic, magical, and bright. We can't wait to continue our story looking up at the sky, this time with our most cherished family and friends with us to celebrate.
