Isaiah and Christin met at Jaren and Courtney Doby's engagement party in early 2020. As things progressed between the two, they realized they shared more than just mutual friends. The following year, their friendship blossomed into a beautiful relationship.

On Christin's grandmother's birthday, her family decided to have professional pictures taken in North Carolina. Isaiah told Christin he would be traveling with his brother that weekend while she was away. Soon after the family pictures, Christin's cousin, Jessica, suggested they take individual photographs and Christin would be first. As Christin proceeded outside she was greeted not only by the photographer but also Isaiah! Christin nearly tripped down the steps astonished and confused. With her son, Joel, by her side, she walked toward Isaiah. He grabbed both of her hands, knelt down on one knee, and asked "You ready for this?" To which Christin replied, "Absolutely!" We cannot wait to celebrate what our 'love is' with you this winter. See you in Georgia!
