A Local's Guide to Rochester

Tyler and I love our city. We picked this venue for more than just it's rustic beauty; it's located in the heart of all our favorite spots. If you have some time to fill, consider checking out some of our suggestions below!

City of Rochester Public Market

280 Union Street North, Rochester, NY 14609
, (585) 428-6907

Great for breakfast, culture, and just to explore! The market is open on Saturday from 6 am (for our early birds) to 2 pm. Check it out, grab a burrito at Flour City, pick up some flowers, and grab some baked goods all before the ceremony!

Fifth Frame Brewing Co.

155 Saint Paul Street, Rochester, NY 14604
, (585) 735-7155

One of the best breweries in the city. Open early, 10 am...no judgement for those looking to start the day off with a Bath Bomb! Fifth Frame also has a full kitchen so you may enjoy lunch or appetizers prior to the ceremony.

Native Rochester

180 South Clinton Avenue, Rochester, NY 14604
, (585) 351-6121

With a beautiful outdoor patio, Native is a delightful spot for lunch, appetizers, or cocktails prior to the ceremony.

Ugly Duck Coffee

89 Charlotte Street, Rochester, NY 14607

Delicious little coffee spot. A little pricy, but you'll find high quality and good vibes.

Durand Eastman Park

1200 Kings Highway North, Rochester, NY 14617
, (585) 753-7275

If you're looking for a scenic view, hop in the car for the ten minute drive north. Park in any of the lots along Lakeshore Blvd. and enjoy the scenic walking path.

The Richmond

21 Richmond Street, Rochester, NY 14607
, (585) 287-6553

Recently renovated by the renowned Mortalis Brewing Company, the Richmond is a classic hotspot for locals. Serving Mortalis' famous stouts, IPAs, and sours as well as Dough Boys pizza, this is a perfect pre- or post- wedding spot for all who appreciate good beer and good food.

George Eastman Museum

900 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607
, (585) 327-4800

If you're looking for culture, the George Eastman museum is the former home of George Eastman and the current home of a photography museum as well as historic gardens. There is a small admission fee, but it's worth the price for the garden views, camera history museum, photographer exhibits, and insight into Mr. Eastman's life.

Fuego Coffee Roasters

1 Woodbury Boulevard, Rochester, NY 14604

Delicious beverages, snacks, and sandwiches. Sit with your haul or take it on a walk down the Genesee River, right across the street!
