Like many modern couples, these two met on the popular dating app Hinge during the early days of the pandemic. Tyler liked Corinne's adventurous spirit, and Corinne liked Tyler's sense of humor. They met for a beer and ending up closing down the bar. Rumor has it their table is still charred from the sparks that flew that night. The rest is history.

Tyler was planning the perfect proposal: mountaintop, just the two of them, a celebration with the families to follow... until he decided that he couldn't wait any longer. "Tomorrow's the day," Tyler said to himself. Tyler and Corinne already had plans to try cross country skiing in the beautiful, snowy, Cumming Nature Center that day. What was not planned, though, was the extra crystal that would end up on Corinne's finger that afternoon. Tyler decided that morning that he would bring the ring and find a time to get down on his knee. Unfortunately, the latter part is not easy to do on cross country skis. They took their ski lesson and started racing through the forest. Well, Corinne did. Tyler lagged behind, with Corinne "motivating" him from up front. They had places to be, as they were planning to meet Corinne's family at Casa Larga Vineyards for an ice wine festival. Corinne wasn't about to let that stop her from doing laps of the forest before they had to leave. "Wait!" Tyler called out, Corinne so far ahead she could barely hear him. "There's something stuck in my boot!" Reluctantly, Corinne turned around, shuffling backwards just enough to say, "Well are you sure you need to get it out now? We're just about out of time anyway." Somehow, Tyler managed to convince her to come all the way back and help him untie his boot. (Side note, Tyler's super power is losing circulation in his fingers unnaturally quickly in the cold). In the middle of her untying his boot, Tyler took his foot away to kneel down and reached into his pocket. Corinne was slightly annoyed. Soon enough though, the annoyance gave way to shock and euphoria, as Tyler made his proposal and Corinne said yes. They gleefully skied back, arriving late to an excited and surprised Calabretta family to celebrate with good wine and good company.
