Corey and Rachel's first date was at Red Lobster. Both of them were nervous, and to this very day Corey still remembers the shirt that Rachel was wearing that night as they got to know each other over dinner. Dinner was followed up with a night of dancing with Rachel's friends in downtown Tampa. Rachel instantly knew that Corey was a keeper when he instantly fit in with her friends, and got the approval of her best friend that same night.

Corey took Rachel to dinner and a comedy show for their 6th year anniversary. As Corey and Rachel were out, Corey's family decorated their home to make the moment perfect for them. When Rachel and Corey arrived home, Rachel opened the door to see a trail of rose pedals and tea lights leading to a board that said 'Will you marry me?' The table was filled with rose pedals, chocolate covered strawberries, and a bottle of champagne. Corey got down on one knee and asked Rachel to marry him....Of course she said yes!
