The Little Red Lighthouse is a staple for us- so much so that this is where Emma proposed to Colby. Many evening walks through Riverside Park led us to the lighthouse where we sat on the rocks and talked about our hopes and dreams.
Our local rock-climbing gym! We wanted more ways to move our bodies together as a new year's goal in 2025 and discovered our love of bouldering, especially Emma. She's really good -- ha!
ART IS SO COOL!! Also by Central Park. We love.
We've been fortunate to perform here twice with Fuerza Fest. I'll say it again, ART (and history) IS SO COOL. The center was originally established during the AIDS epidemic to provide a safe and affirming place for the LGBTQ+ community. Check out the arts and cultural programing they're offering during your visit. Also close to Stonewall -- eowwww iykyk.
THE BEST THRIFTS EVER. Also such a cool part of Brooklyn.
This is OUR SPOT. A staple neighborhood date night spot-- cute vibes, yummy food and drinks.
Also a neighborhood staple-- cheap, yummy, fun vibes, gay.
Colby has sold her soul to Rubirosa, but they've paid her bills and she works with the best people. Cute family restaurant vibes and INCREDIBLE food. Located in Soho so make sure to walk around :) (also catering our wedding- and that's on period)
It's YUMMMYYYY Thai in midtown. Easy and delicious.
Union Square spot! Delicious and cute. Staple order: Truffle fries, fried asparagus, crunchy tofu, fish bao buns, and shrimp tempura roll all to share.
Colby is newly obsessed with line dancing. This is THE SPOT to do it on Wednesday and Sunday nights. Close to Beacon's Closet in our fav BK area.
Visited during the holidays with Dañela (Colby's mom) and her husband, Nathan, and instantly fell in love. Speakeasy vibes, amazing jazz music, and small plates.
Had a night out here too many times to count and even performed on the stage a few times as well! Drag shows are hosted most days of the week followed by a DJ set and dancing. Drinks are strong. Bring your dollar bills.
First date!! Colby bought Emma a coffee to show it was more than just friends and then we walked along Riverside (surprise, surprise). We've talked every single day since. Cute. (But also, the coffee is banging.)
A new staple by Steps! Coffee is so good-- and you get a discount if you say you're a dancer.
What more can we say.
We had to include TJ's. Emma works way too hard here but we have amazing health insurance and she has the best coworkers. Shout out to our grocery mama <3
