Oh where to begin?! I met Collin at Washburn my freshman year at WU Fest with a couple of my suitemates. He seemed like a nice guy that I knew I could have as a friend throughout my college career (little did I know we would soon become more than friends). Collin and I always had great conversions, and as I got to know him better I enjoyed being around him more. After about a year of being friends, we decided to give a relationship a shot. I am very happy and blessed that we did. Collin has challenged me in many ways and I have grown as an individual since he stepped into my life. He makes me laugh and has helped me have more confidence in myself which has always been an internal struggle for me. We have always told each other to take life one day at a time and that is what we will continue to live by. I cannot wait to make more memories with you and am excited for our future!
Amber and I met freshman year at Washburn. From the first conversation we had, I knew she was special. What I love most about our relationship is how everything is pure and natural. Our first conversation was suppose to be us exchanging medical term flashcards, which turned into a 45-minute conversation about how we've experienced loss in our lives. Our first date was suppose to be a quick lunch after work, which turned into a 2-hour walk through Gage Park. We've connected even closer through God, going to church together since freshman year before we even started dating. Since the start of our relationship, we always told ourselves to take life one day at a time, and we still live by that today. From completing the PTA program together, finding jobs, finishing school, being away for long periods of time, we take it one day at a time. Then, when we started talking about spending the rest of our lives together, we started saying to each other that our time will come. Through acts of God, and much patience, our time has finally come! Forever with Amber cannot start soon enough!
