Question

When Should I RSVP By?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent, but we are asking all guests to RSVP, here, on Zola, no later than August 1, 2024. If we do not receive your RSVP by or before then we assume you will be not attending the wedding.

Question

Are children permitted at your wedding?

Answer

After much consideration, we've decided to have an adults-only, 21+ celebration, and no children will be permitted. We truly hope this doesn't cause too much inconvenience and that you'll still be able to join us on our special day.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on the beach. In the case of inclement weather, it will be moved inside. The reception will be held indoors and outdoors on the deck. Finally, our reception will take place in the venue's ballroom.

Question

Have you reserved room blocks at Hilton Marco Island Resort & Spa?

Answer

Taylor and Robert have reserved a room block at a discounted price. Please read the “Travel” tab on our website for more information.

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

If you wish to bring your own alcohol, it must be consumed in your hotel rooms at the venue. During the wedding and the ceremony, we are offering an open bar (with various options) for our guests at no additional charge to you.

Question

Is there an alcohol, smoking, and/or drug policy?

Answer

We want to ensure our wedding is enjoyable and comfortable for everyone, while also respecting local laws and our venue's policies. Please note, that as marijuana is not legalized in Florida, it will not be permitted at our wedding venue. However, we're excited to share that we will have a cash bar available on-site on days leading up to the wedding for guests to purchase their beverages, with an open bar at the reception for our guests to enjoy responsibly. For those who wish to smoke cigarettes or cigars, we've arranged designated smoking areas to ensure the comfort and safety of all our guests. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in making our wedding day enjoyable for everyone.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and from vacation homes if we chose to not stay at the resort?

Answer

We understand the importance of planning your travel arrangements and want to ensure you have a smooth experience. Unfortunately, we won't be able to provide transportation services to and from the venue if you are not staying at the resort. Additionally, it's worth noting that Uber and Lyft are readily available in this area. To assist you, we highly recommend securing a private car service for your convenience. For more detailed information on available cab services that you can call and reserve in advance, we've compiled a list of options on the travel tab of our wedding website. This resource is designed to help you find reliable transportation, ensuring you can join us without any hassle. We appreciate your understanding and are here to help with any further questions you might have. Thank you for making arrangements to celebrate with us, and we're looking forward to seeing you on our special day!

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

We've given a lot of thought to the guest list and, due to venue capacity and our desire to keep the celebration intimate, we are unable to accommodate plus-ones unless specifically mentioned in your save-the-date or formal invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and hope this doesn't cause any inconvenience. Each invitation has been carefully considered, and we're so grateful for your support as we make these difficult decisions. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need further clarification. We're looking forward to celebrating with you and are here to help make your experience as smooth as possible.

Question

What is the dress code for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We've chosen a 'formal' dress-code for our wedding. While we understand that Florida's warmth might make a tuxedo seem a bit much, we do ask for formal suite attire for gentlemen and gowns/tea length or formal dresses for ladies are preferred. Please no cocktail or bodycon dresses for women and no jeans or t-shirts for men. We believe this will strike the right balance between elegance and comfort, allowing everyone to look their best while enjoying the celebration. We're looking forward to seeing everyone dressed up and sharing our special day with us!

Question

What's the average weather in Marco Island, Florida in November?

Answer

The average weather in Marco Island, Florida, in November, is quite pleasant, making it a beautiful time for our wedding. By the time the beach ceremony begins, you can expect average temperatures to be around 78-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Please keep in mind that there's often a light breeze on the beach, adding to the comfort of our outdoor setting. As the evening progresses and we transition inside into the night, temperatures tend to drop to the mid to low 70's. To ensure everyone's comfort, air conditioning will be available at our indoor venues, and fans will be provided for any outdoor activities. We hope this helps you plan your attire and stay comfortable throughout our celebration!

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

For guests flying in for our wedding, we recommend arriving at Fort Myers Airport. It's conveniently located about a 1hr to 1hr 45-minute drive from our wedding venue in Marco Island. We're looking forward to welcoming you and ensuring you have a wonderful time celebrating with us. If you have any more questions or need further assistance with your travel plans, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Question

Can we bring physical gifts?

Answer

We kindly ask that physical gifts be shipped to our home address before the wedding. As we will be traveling back home after the wedding, managing physical gifts on-site could present some difficulties for us. For your convenience, our home address can be found on our wedding website under the 'Registry' section. Additionally, for those who prefer to gift in another form, we will have a wedding card box available at the wedding for any monetary envelopes you wish to share with us as a gift. We truly appreciate your understanding and generosity as we celebrate this joyous occasion. If you have any further questions or need more information, please feel free to reach out.
