Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than October 1st, 2018. You may RSVP by mail or through our wedding website. Please be sure to include your guests name, if applicable, and each guest's dinner entrée of choice!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We absolutely love your kids, but we are requesting that young children stay at home, unless they are directly involved in our wedding ceremony. Please consider our wedding day as a well-deserved date night for the two of you! We will include the number of seats we have reserved in your family’s honor on your formal invitation.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Mavris provides a complimentary lot at the SE corner of East and Washington Street (it’s located a half block north of the venue). Once parked, walk south under the bridge and Mavris is on your left-hand side. Follow the big black awning to the main entrance.

When should I plan to arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 6:00 PM, on the 3rd floor of the venue. It is recommended that you plan to arrive at the venue between 5:30-5:45. Mavris employees will dismiss guests to the 3rd floor when it is time to be seated. Be sure to account for the Indianapolis rush hour traffic when you are traveling! We appreciate you making an effort to come to our non-traditional Friday night wedding! :)

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes. In addition to the stairs, Mavris has a guest elevator to get you from the main floor up to the ceremony space (3rd floor) and to the reception space (2nd floor). Mavris does have a large parking lot for guest use, but it is approximately a 2-4 minute walk from the parking lot to the main doors of the venue. Guests who need assistance walking should be dropped off at the main door if possible.

Are you registered? Where?

Yes! We are currently registered at Target and Amazon. Please visit our registry page for more information on gifts and cash funds that we have registered for!

Is there a hotel nearby where wedding guests can stay?

Answer

Yes! We have a block of rooms at the Hyatt Place Indianapolis Airport (10-13 minutes from our venue). Please ask for the Johnson/Clements Wedding Block when making a reservation. There are additional hotels located downtown that are close to our venue, however they were unable to accommodate such a large block of rooms for our guests. You may use websites such as Hotwire, Expedia, and Booking.com to locate single rooms available during our wedding weekend. Please visit the Travel page of our wedding website for more details.
