There are tons of Airbnb and VRBO options in the Ketchum/Sun Valley/Elkhorn areas. This is a great option for groups looking to stay together. Please note if you book your stay outside of downtown Ketchum you will likely need a rental car for getting around throughout the weekend.

There are very few Ubers in the Sun Valley/Ketchum area. Here are our recommendations for transportation: -The town of Ketchum is small and very walkable. If you choose to stay at Limelight hotel, Best Western Kentwood Lodge, or anywhere in downtown Ketchum, you may not need a rental car. Most hotels have free shuttles to and from the airport. -If you're staying at Sun Valley Lodge or an Airbnb outside of the downtown Ketchum area, we recommend renting a car. -The Mountain Rides bus is free and goes to Ketchum, Sun Valley village, Elkhorn, Warm Springs, and more. Click the link below for bus routes and schedule. -You can also use one of Sun Valley's two taxi services, however please note that you must book taxis in advance. Travel Note
-Fly into Friedman Memorial Airport in Hailey, ID (12 miles south of Sun Valley/Ketchum). From the airport, you can rent a car and drive or book a cab/car service. Most hotels offer complimentary shuttles. -Fly into Boise, ID and drive 2.5 hours to Sun Valley/Ketchum (often times more affordable). From the airport, either rent a car and drive, or book the Sun Valley express shuttle departing daily at 3:30PM for $90.00. -From Spokane, it takes 9 hours to drive to Sun Valley. We recommend driving thru Tri-Cities and Boise for the most convenient route.
