When should I RSVP by?

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love all of the children in our lives, we have decided to keep our reception an adult-only event.

Is there parking at the reception?

Answer

There is no parking allowed at our reception venue. We will be providing transportation from Lionshead Village and Vail Village to and from the reception.

Are you providing transportation to the ceremony?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation to the ceremony. Vail Chapel is in the heart of Vail Village, a short walk from Tivoli Lodge or the village public parking lot and easily accessible via Vail free bus system.

What do we do in between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Enjoy Vail! For those who will be skiing, we will send out more information for a meeting place, so grab your ski gear, have some lunch and enjoy a few runs! For those who do not ski, please see our list of Things To Do in Vail for our recommendations. You will not be disappointed!

What if we do not ski but want to be a part of the action?

Answer

We are still working on finalizing our meeting location and trails for skiing (it may depend on the weather) so we will do our best to communicate how skiers and non-skiers can be involved once we have the details confirmed. There is a sightseeing gondola pass available to ride the gondolas at Vail (~$60) if you would like to join us on the mountain and watch us ski from the lodge!

What is the weather in Vail in early April?

Answer

April is a total toss up in the Rockies - it could be snowing, sunny, 50 degrees, 10 degrees, raining, you name it! We intend to have a wonderful time, no matter the weather :)

Do I need a jacket for the reception?

Answer

We do highly recommend bringing a jacket to the reception! We will be hosting the cocktail hour outside (weather permitting).
