Boy sees a pretty girl seated at an airport workbench in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He walks over & silently sits across from her. Girl is busy writing notes on her I-pad & doesn’t notice…when she looks across the bench she realized boy has an adaptor which would help with her laptop charger. But, she dared not speak to a stranger. Time passes...a couple of minutes later she gathers her courage and asks boy for adaptor..(fancy Universal adaptor, to connect to laptop charger on airport work bench). Boy looks up at her and answers, with a wide smile..."no...” *(girl is pinching herself for even asking) *, then with an even wider smile on his face, boy proceeds to say “actually the bench is not working, so the adaptor won’t work!” Boy then introduces himself “Hi! I'm Chris Hufton ☺!” as he holds out his hand and looks at girl….Girl smiles and says “I am Irene"...at this point girl notices that boy has the cutest blue-green eyes. Their first conversation was on Jesus Christ! Girl noticed he was a gentleman and boy noticed she was a lady. Behind the scenes: (Days before they met) Boy had prayed to God for a girl from Africa, specifically East or maybe West Africa. Girl had prayed that God protect her heart until the guy He (God) allowed, would have it. 12.17.2014: Atlanta,Georgia; Boy and Girl kneel, pray & thank God that they met. They have been together in a friendship that led to a beautiful and blessed relationship! Truly...Only God could have planned and orchestrated this one.☺ That 2 strangers, one travelling from Uganda, the other from Kenya met at Amsterdam and then realized that they both reside in Georgia, a few miles from each other, is a story that owes its origin to God! 12.17.16: Amsterdam Airport: At the exact spot they met 3 years ago, Boy verbally commits to girl to protect and love her always. 02.14.17: On one knee, at the Hartsfield Jackson Airport, Boy asks girl to marry him...and...she says yes!!! Our journey continues, blessed & favored of God!
