Our Wedding Party

Our wedding day would not be complete without those that we hold nearest and dearest to us! Some of them are related to us by blood and some of them are not, but they are still a part of our family and we are extremely grateful to be able to celebrate with them.

Honestly, I don't even know where to begin or try to end with this. I can say, without any hesitation or doubt, if it was not for these two young ladies, I literally would not be here today. Their love, patience and faith in me kept me going through times where I often doubted myself as a father and as a man. I am greatly indebted to both of them for the gifts they bestowed upon me, the greatest of them being able to call them my daughters. Now, because of them, I am able to add the missing piece to my life that admires and loves them as much as i do. Thank you, girls. My love for you will never diminish.

Wing man. Partner in crime. Ill advised joke enabler. Concert cohort. Wrestling teammate. Confidant. Like Robby, it's been a 35 year friendship that has seen us through to the present day. Some laughing, some arguing and some pulling each other up out of the dumps. No matter what the situation has brought to our doorsteps, a strong friendship has survived and flourished to this very day.

We've been angering rival softball teams and players together for over 26 years and keeping the tradition strong. Walt and I have been strong friends through some of our greatest and darkest moments in our lives and continue to do so.

What can I say about Robby? I have known Robby for 35 years, starting with Freshman year in high school and continuing with many punk gigs at Fender's Ballroom to Grateful Dead shows and just hanging out and just having great conversations with each other. Robby is one of the most giving people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, but above and beyond all, he is a great family man that I admire and try to emulate.

Although I may not have known Robby for as long as the other groomsmen, there is one thing that I have learned about him in that short amount of time. He is just a solid, all-around good guy. We love our Dodgers, Bruins, Kings and Mariners and more importantly, we are both men that are all about our family and friends.

There once were two Indians named Dot and Feather and they liked to get into a little mischief together. That being said, we have some fantastic memories together and we are about to make some more. Asmita, we are similar enough to enjoy many things together and different enough for you to challenge me in the best ways. Asmita is a fierce friend that is reliable, trustworthy, and supportive and having her as a part of my family is an honor I never expected.

The first interaction I ever had with Kadi was over the phone while I was on vacation in Mexico. Not much has changed because she is still looking after all of us, even from Washington. I can always count on her straight forward approach and support. Through all of the changes we have encountered, she has become another sister of mine and I'm so fortunate to have her to celebrate with.

Our friendship started with a racial joke told by Ally and me inviting myself to an Angels baseball game. Fast forward 13 years and she has grown into more than a friend, she is my sister. We have shared so many wonderful memories together and I could not go through this life event without her by my side. I'm sure she will be asking me "Hey, how are ya" on my wedding day and I wouldn't have it any other way.

As far as Sister-in-Law's go, Erin is the gold standard. She is one of this kindest and most down to earth people I have ever met. Always up for a trip to Disneyland or a running event, Erin is very active and we feel fortunate to have such a wonderful person as a part of our family.
