Mutual friends and multiple margaritas on Cinco de Mayo made striking up a conversation easy when Christa and Chase crossed paths at the bar -McIntyre's of course! Christa “lost” her driver’s license (she blames the margaritas) but Chase saved the day and was able to return it to her. A Saturday brunch date a few weeks later and the rest is history.

A proposal during their annual beach trip to Belize was Chase's way of securing that Christa would always want to return back to his favorite vacation spot. Chase planned a boat day with their friends and decided to pop the question when they stopped for photos at the picturesque sandbar. He got down on one knee and they spent the rest of the day celebrating on the boat with champagne, lobster fishing, snorkeling, and island hopping around Ambergris Caye. It was the best day EVER.
