Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Chloe Laverack and Tommy Pierre
Listed below are recommendations for things to do in Madison. We have some of our favorite restaurants, outdoor activities, and sights to see to make your time in Madison even better! Google Maps List: https://goo.gl/maps/gbr6sJtdWg4H3f4z9

Capitol Square

2 East Main Street, Madison, WI 53703

The city is centered around the Capitol building - open to the public most days with plenty of activities and restaurants within a quick walk.

Dane County Farmers' Market

2 East Main Street, Madison, WI 53703

The largest producers-only farmer's market in the country! Every Saturday morning, vendors line the Capitol Square - try out some squeaky cheese curds, fresh produce, and the famous Stella's cheesy bread.

Memorial Union

800 Langdon Street, Madison, WI 53703

Beautiful outdoor space on UW campus, right on Lake Mendota. Grab a drink or ice cream and take in the sunset and live music almost every night!

Mint Mark

1929 Winnebago Street, Madison, WI 53704

Our favorite restaurant in Madison! Small-ish, exciting plates with plenty of variety and tons of vegetarian options. You'll need a reservation in advance but can always pop by and hope for a seat at the bar.

Marigold Kitchen

118 South Pinckney Street, Madison, WI 53703

Chloe's favorite breakfast spot right on Capitol Square. Go-to dish: breakfast burrito with tofu.

Gotham Bagels

112 East Mifflin Street, Madison, WI 53703

Tommy's favorite breakfast place, also right on Capitol Square. Best breakfast sandwiches in town with amazing bagels. The Tommy Special: bacon egg and cheese with pesto on an egg bagel.

Young Blood Beer Company - King Street

112 King Street, Madison, WI 53703

Our favorite brewery/bar in Madison! Tons of fruity/sour beers and really unique flavors!

Olbrich Botanical Gardens

3330 Atwood Avenue, Madison, WI 53704

One of Chloe's favorite places in Madison! Beautiful outdoor gardens and pathways are always free, but don't miss the tropical room inside which is free on Saturdays from 10 am to noon.

Epic

1979 Milky Way, Verona, WI 53593

The healthcare software company where we both work! The campus is beautiful and each building has a different theme, Tommy's is the Wild Wild West and Chloe's is Wizard of Oz themed. Self guided tours are available on weekends from 10a-3p and weekdays from 2p-5p.

UW Arboretum

2880 Longenecker Drive, Madison, WI 53713

Devil's Lake State Park

S5975 Park Road, Baraboo, WI 53913

A short drive from Madison - beautiful views and some easy hiking make this a great day trip.

Grab an electric bike and tour Madison!

Madison, WI

Madison is one of the most bike friendly cities in the country - grab an electric bike from one of the many stations around town and explore! Tommy's favorite route is the Lake Loop, a ~14 mile route that takes you downtown and around Lake Monona.
