American Jazz Museum
Where Chloe works! Our neighbor museum is the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, visit both while you can! It also sits in the historic 18th and Vine district, home to Kansas City Jazz.
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
This is the biggest art museum in the region and is also free aside from special exhibitions. Definitely worth a visit!
Kansas City Museum
An awesome museum in a historic mansion of Kansas City's lumbar baron. They chronicle and tell the stories of Kansas Citians.
Country Club Plaza
A historic shopping district that was built to be a replica of Seville, Italy, Kansas City's sister city!
Old Westport
A shopping and bar district, very fun!
Crossroads
Kansas City's arts district. It is a great area to walk around and see 100's of murals by local and national artists, get food, or shop.
Crown Center
This is a boutique mall with two attached hotels, and right on the street car line. The mall hosts great children's events, has the Coterie Children's theater, an aquarium and lego museum/store.
City Market
An awesome place to walk around and get lunch and shop. This area has some of the best international lunch restaurants and is populated with local businesses, also right on the street car line.
