We're Getting Married!

It wasn't in a bar, or out on the town in a city we both weren't from... it was Instagram. 21st Century dating gone right! I had just moved to San Diego from Simi Valley and didn't know too many people. I ended up going on a date with a guy from my work one night. After that date was a fail I started scrolling instagram and came across Enrique's profile. I scrolled down his page and told my friends this guy is more my speed. He likes country music, he is into fitness and gotta love those tattoos. I proceeded to follow him on instagram not thinking he would even notice. Shortly after, he followed me back. I then decided I was going to get his attention by liking random photos throughout his page (I wasn't kidding when I said 21st Century dating). Enrique turned around and did the same thing on my page. Finally after we played that game with each other I decided to message him... and the line I said that landed us forever... "Since you're liking all of my photos, Hi, I'm Chelsea!" and every day since has been the best day ever.

We went on a trip to New York. Enrique planned our first day to be a "Friends" day because he knows how much I love the show Friends. We started the day at a Friends Museum and then he wanted to go to Central Park so we could see the iconic fountain they filmed the beginning of Friends in front of. When we got to the fountain, I was looking around for someone to take a photo of us, and all of the sudden I turned and Enrique was proposing to me with a hidden photographer capturing every moment.
