Brian and Chelsea met in 2007 while Chelsea was working at a little bar in Norman, Oklahoma called Louie's. Brian and his friends were regulars at Louie's (although Brian contends his "regular" status to this day) and were often being waited on by Chelsea, or one of her best friends that also worked at the neighborhood bar. Needless to say, he frequented Louie's enough to develop a platonic friendship with Chelsea. In the beginning, they didn't keep in constant contact with each other, but mingled with one-another on more fortuitous occasions. Perhaps a run-in on campus corner, or a get-together at either of their homes. The years went by and the spark remained dormant until the summer of 2013. Chelsea noticed Brian contacting her more regularly. Specifically, he would invite Chelsea to hang out with him immediately upon returning home from flying four-day work trips. She suspected a budding romance, but had no idea she'd soon be leaving the ever-pleasant "friend zone.” The two took a trip that September to one of Brian's favorite places: Lake of the Ozarks. This is where Chelsea says that she and Brian fell in love and the two have shared many warm memories at Lake of the Ozarks since. During that initial trip to LOTO (as they fondly refer to the lake), their chemistry was undeniable. It was there that they realized that their combined senses of humor (and weirdness), love for adventure, and appreciation for one-another were meant to foster more than just a friendship. They were meant to be partners. Partners for life.
The bride and groom are thrilled to finally celebrate their marriage with their dearest family and friends. Given the current circumstances, the couple wants to ensure their loved ones are able to remain safe while celebrating. The couple has taken extra steps to ensure the ceremony and reception remain safe and clean. Dancing and mingling at a six-foot distance are recommended, and please respect other guests' safety and personal space. Please note that masks are required during the ceremony. The couple respectfully asks that their guests also wear masks when they are not seated or able to safely socially distance during the reception. Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the venue and frequent hand-washing is encouraged. ***If you or someone you have been in close contact with is unwell during the two weeks prior to the wedding, please kindly celebrate from home.
This year has had its share of twists and turns, so why not add a baby to the mix?! Brian and Chelsea are thrilled to be welcoming a sweet little baby to their family this November. Boy or girl??? No one knows! With a year full of surprises, it only seemed right to keep the secret until Baby Weber makes his or her arrival this fall.
