We crossed paths in college a couple times, but it wasn't until our senior year where we were both chosen to do a year-long research thesis that our friendship began. Charlie was studying stinkbugs while Leena was studying horses. While they spent many hours working alongside each other on their projects, Charlie would woo Leena with the guitar. By the time they graduated, they realized their feelings for each other. Charlie moved Leena across the country into vet school in Illinois, and later moved in & supported Leena throughout her graduate schooling. Charlie proposed to Leena at the end of her clinical year in Central Park NYC, and after her graduation they moved to Queens with their 3 cats (Winnie, Rosie, & Mason). Almost 2 years later, they bought a home together & moved to NJ, and are very excited to celebrate their marriage with their family & friends soon!
