We love Leu Gardens and actually did our engagement photoshoot there! It is a beautiful botanical garden with lots to look at. Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 4 to 17.
Park Avenue has some really great little shops and delicious restaurants. Tabla is delicious if you like Indian food! There is street parking throughout but there is also a public parking garage at 131 E Comstock Ave.
Winter Park Village is a great place to walk around. It is filled with boutiques, restaurants, and even has a movie theater!
Disney World has four parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. We are annual pass holders and love going to all four! For our guests from California, Magic Kingdom is most similar to Disneyland and is where you'll find Cinderella's Castle. If you're wanting to visit one of the parks and are unsure of which one to go to, please ask us!
Disney Springs is another great area to go to if you want a touch of Disney magic but don't want to pay for admission into one of the parks! Parking is free and it is full of shops and restaurants. For our guests from California, Disney Springs is the Florida version of Downtown Disney.
Universal Orlando is made up of two parks: Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Both parks have parts of Harry Potter World. Islands of Adventure is more geared towards big roller coasters and has Marvel Island, Jurassic Park, Hogsmeade from Harry Potter, Suess Landing and more. Universal Studios focuses on the movies and has Minion's Land, the Simpsons, The Mummy, Men in Black, and Harry Potter's Diagon Alley. Our only recommendation is that you do NOT go on the Fast and Furious ride - it sucks.
SeaWorld is the place to go if you are a roller coaster person! SeaWorld has eight different roller coasters and they are not for the faint of heart. Even if you don't like roller coasters, there are some great shows and plenty of animals to see.
