We met via Facebook back in 2012, before Facebook dating was a thing. Angela added Chalie as a friend in April 2012 as his Italian skin and beautiful locks caught her eye. We both grew up in Gloucester City, NJ and only lived a few blocks from each other. Chalie attended Gloucester Catholic High School and Angela attended Gloucester City High School. Our high schools were rivals at the time, but we later found out that a ram and lion are soulmates. #iykyk Although Chalie would disagree, he messaged Angela first; the rest was history. Seriously, wouldn't you consider a decade of dating history? All jokes aside, Chalie asked Angela to be his girlfriend on December 29th, 2012.

If you know us, you know we love the beach. It was our second time in Captiva Island, Florida. We visited this magical place the year prior and fell in love. The date was August 10th, 2022. We approached the white sand and crystal-clear ocean. Chalie was sweating, not just from the heat. When we located the perfect spot, Chalie requested to take a group selfie. As we prepared to take a picture, Chalie sunk his knee into the sand behind Angela and requested her hand in marriage.
