What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the ceremony is Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please no jeans or sneakers.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

You are welcome to arrive as early as 4:30 pm. The ceremony will being promptly at 5:00 pm.

Are small kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we want our wedding to be your night off so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the little ones (under 10 years old) at home so you can celebrate with us. Please feel to contact us with any questions!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your save-the-date or wedding invitation. Please feel to contact us with any questions!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors on the terrace and the reception will be indoors. There will also be plenty of outdoor seating with fire pits available throughout the night.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Novato in August is mildly cool with a gentle breeze, with average highs of 76°F (25°C) and lows of 55°F (13°C). Don't forget your sunglasses!

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

Answer

You are welcome to use a ride-share app, such as Uber or Lyft, or drive to the venue. The venue is conveniently located only 10 minutes away from the hotel and parking is available. You may also leave your car safely overnight at the venue and pick it up the next morning.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! See the "Travel" tab for more information. We will stay at the Best Western Plus Novato Oaks Inn and encourage you to join us! The hotel has free breakfast, an outdoor pool and hot tub, business center, fitness center, and an on-site restaurant.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
