Oxbow Public Market in Napa is one of our favorite places to visit. If you are wanting to sit down for a meal, this marketplace includes restaurants like Hog Island Oyster Co. and Gott’s Roadside. Our favorite part about visiting is all of the fun specialty food items they have to offer. Inside Oxbow, Chanel’s favorite shop is Napa Valley Distillery. Their stall is filled with a bunch of unique and interesting bitters, shrubs, and syrups that will up your home bartender game. After buying up some goodies, the market has some in and outdoor seating to enjoy your treats.
At The Fatted Calf, you can grab some delicious charcuterie (to enjoy with our favorite bread from Model Bakery). Word to the wise, if they have a seasonal tart on display make sure to get yourself a piece.
Tara says the best bread she has ever had is from Model Bakery. Pro-tip, Model Bakery also sells their goods at the coffee window at Napa Railway Inn in the center of Yountville.
Bistro Jeanty is a must try if classic French comfort is what you are craving.
Coqueta is located in the center of the action in Yountville, V Marketplace. Although we have not eaten at this specific location of the restaurant, we had an excellent dinner at their San Francisco location. Coqueta serves tasty Spanish tapas and paella.
When you get into town, it's likely you will see a line out the door of Bouchon Bakery and for good reason. The baked goods they sell are well worth the wait, especially for breakfast alongside coffee. Our wedding cake is also from here.
Mustards Grill is one of our favorite spots in Napa. If you plan to eat here, we highly recommend that you request to eat out in the garden. Although it is legendary for its pork chop, we never leave without ordering the calamari.
Located in the Bardessono Hotel, Lucy serves casual, seasonal “field to fork” fare.
Our reception will be held on the patio at Ottimo. During the day, it's a great place to grab a glass of wine and share a woodfired pizza. Their storefront also sells vintage glassware, cookbooks, preserves, and some of the items you will be having with dinner such as the parmesan dip.
Dinner for our reception will be catered by Bottega, but that doesn’t mean you should rule it out as a spot to stop by while you are in Yountville. It is our favorite restaurant in town. The Raviolo de Uvo, a potato based ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta covered in brown butter and sage, is worth getting if you can snag a table.
Ranch Market Too is a small grocery store located in Yountville. Its a great spot to grab a few snacks or drinks to keep in your room.
Our wedding favors are from this small, unique chocolatier in V Marketplace. Although you will get to try a couple of our favorite bonbons as a thank you for attending, there are many other interesting flavors that are worth checking out.
