Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family that have and will stand with us as we continue our journey.

Jessi

Maid of Honor

I met Jessi on my first visit to Indiana to meet Tyler's family. We went in to his old Guitar Center and Jessi and I briefly said hello. About a year later she and her husband moved out to Seattle and after a few months of making Tyler text her so I could hang out with her I finally asked her for her number myself. Years later she has become one of my bestfriends. She is one of the kindest, funniest and most passionate people I've ever met. I couldn't imagine my life with out her and I'm so excited to have her as my maid of honor.

Amber

Bridesmaid

Amber is my big sister and one of my best friends. Our relationship is one that while rocky in the beginning has been forged in fire. I've looked up to her and wished to be where we are now ever since I could remember. She is an amazing mother and wife, compassionate and smart social worker, great cook and the best sister I could ask for. Amber accepted and supported mine and Tyler's relationship from day one and has helped us blossom.

Jason

Bridesman

Jason and I met in high school. We became fast friends, he was someone I felt free to be myself around immediately. Unfortunately we lost touch after I graduated, but rekindled our friendship a while later. That round we spent much of our free time together, driving around, talking, and just generally existing with one another. After losing touch once again we came back together as roommates. Jason, Derek and I created a home together. During that time I met Tyler and they listened as I endlessly talked about him, they gave me advice and pushed me to tear down some of the walls I was building between us. Jason is the strongest, most honest and accepting person I've met. He has always been himself and in doing so invites those around him to be authentically theirselves.

Alexis

Bridesmaid

Alexis is my cousin. When young we got to spend time together during summer or holiday visits. During those visits we became inseparable. Exploring, laughing and playing together we developed a friendship that crossed age gaps and distance. The time between visits melted away the moment we joined up. As we got older visits became a rarity, but whenever possible or whenever I thought of her I reached out. About a year ago she came to Seattle and during that time we built our relationship to what it is now. She is kind, thoughtful, smart, funny, beautiful and so supportive. I'm lucky to have her as my cousin and friend.

Aaron

Best Man

Aaron aka Abomb has become one of my closest friends. I met him as a young kid working in a music store and the common interest as well as the friendship I had with Jessi, brought us together. He's become the big brother I never had and has had my back. His straight forward no BS outlook on things is one of his best traits. He opened the doorway that led to me landing a job with 3R Technology and has been supportive of me every step of the way. His humor in only the way Abomb can deliver adds to his personality and how all who meet him become charmed. It is an honor to have him as my best man.

Zac

Groomsman

Zac and I have been best friends since high school. We've experienced the transition to adulthood through the trials of adolescence together and always been there to offer advice or to talk about the future we wanted for ourselves and the people we wanted to become. Zac has always been supportive and stuck by me. I consider him family and I always think of him as someone I can truly count on. Zac is the kind of person who is dutiful yet laughs along the way. Adventures and growth through experience was what bonded us together and I feel this will carry our friendship until death.

Jeff

Groomsman

I first met Jeff in Indiana and we immediately hit it off and became friends. We wanted to make swift changes to our lives at the time and I was planning a move to Seattle. Jeff asked if I'd mind a tag along and we eventually packed our things and headed west. Jeff and I spent our last few months before the journey having as much fun as we could. Enjoying the company of all who crossed our paths. Jeff has always been an open and caring individual. He's one of the most accepting individuals I've ever met. His love of adventure led him elsewhere to make further discoveries and it's his stories and thoughts that make Jeff a standout individual. There's a mysticism that surrounds him and I think thats what draws people to him the most.

Josh

Groomsman

Josh and I were first introduced through Jeff. He had already settled in Seattle before we made the journey. What started out as simple conversation about the area how great Seattle was, blossomed into a great friendship. Josh is inclusive and inviting. He'll make you feel as if you've been friends for years. He listens and takes what you say to heart. He's the kind of guy who'll here you talk about your grandmother or cousin in a conversation and the next time you meet will ask how they are doing. Josh has always been a man of spontaneity, he's got a formula for life that can change at any second. He can make the best out of any situation. My adjustment period on the West Coast was not without difficulty, but in many ways Josh helped make it easier.

Derek

Officiant

Derek and Cecilia met through Jason. Within the year they all moved in together and formed one of the first places Cecilia felt truly at home since being an adult. Living with Derek, Cecilia found that they shared many common interests- they cooked together, shared books and spent many evenings watching movies and shows while laughing and talking endlessly. Tyler, was introduced to Derek through Cecilia and was welcomed with open arms into their home. Derek helped Tyler through some troubled times and was always supportive of our relationship. When in the early stages of wedding planning we argued about who would have Derek in their party and in compromise we decided to ask him to be with both of us and help usher us into our marriage.

Vivienne

Flower Girl

Vivienne is the niece of Tyler and Cecilia. She is a funny, smart and energetic toddler who brings us so much joy. Since before she was born she began shaping our lives. Opening up a discussion about a mutual family and how enmeshed our lives were growing. She loves her aunts horrible singing, her uncles goofy metal voices and spending time with her family. We're both so excited to have her share in this special moment and see her personality shine through as our flower girl.

Charlie

Flower Girl

Charlie is Cecilia and Tyler’s niece. She is a funny, loving and creative girl. She was born during Cecilia’s first trip to meet Tyler’s family in Indiana. She woke up to texts and pictures of this tiny blond baby. So excited she woke Tyler up to share the news. Her birth was a moment that while happening so far away being able to share that together in the midst of introducing Cecilia to Tyler’s family it felt like we were becoming our own family. We are so excited for her to be a part of this special day!
