Laura and Cathryn met while working as receptionists at Buckeystown Veterinary Hospital and have been best friends ever since. Laura and Cathryn each never had a sister, so they adopted one another as such because DNA doesn’t make a family...LOVE DOES! Cathryn is godmother to Laura’s handsome son, Jackson.

Kelsey is Joanne’s Maid of Honor and best friend. <3 They met while studying Veterinary Medical Technology at Wilson College and are both RVTs. Fun fact: Cathryn and Kelsey (aka Joanne’s “straight wife”) both share the same birthday! Second fun fact: Joanne and Kelsey both have the most precious whippet siblings from the same litter, Hazel and Anderson (aka “Baby Boy”).

Joanne’s (and now also Cathryn’s! :-) sister-in-law. Kayla is an amazing baker and cook — in fact, she’s making our cutting cake for our special day. <3 Kayla and Mat are expecting their second child in August and we can’t wait to meet her! Aunt Joanne is very excited to be Mabel’s godmother.

Jess is Joanne’s cousin but she's truly more like her sister since they grew up together. She’s been there for Joanne through thick and thin. <3 Jess is an amazingly talented artist who can create anything she puts her mind to. She’s mother to Tripp, the sweetest, smartest, most energetic little boy in the world!

Emily and Cathryn work together at 911 in Frederick County. Emily is one of the smartest, kindest souls we have the privilege to know. She also loves all things Harry Potter and, like Joanne, she’s a mac and cheese connoisseur. Ours will be the 9th wedding Emily has officiated — thank you so much for presiding over our special day, Emily!
