The Quechee Inn has a great restaurant you can check out - stop by and have dinner before our welcome drinks and dessert.
A high-end restaurant with beautiful views, delicious food, a Simon Pearce shop, and chance to see glass blowing up close! Reservations recommended.
Pizza restaurant with mini golf, right around the corner from our wedding venue.
King Arthur Baking (KAB) is an amazing place to get breakfast, lunch, or a pastry. Don't forget to check out the baking store and if you want to channel the Great British Bake Off, sign up for one of their baking classes in advance!
A nice spot for dinner and cocktails, right around the corner from where Tom lived throughout all of medical school.
Catherine's favorite restaurant in the Upper Valley, with the best Mediterranean food.
Laidback restaurant with delicious BBQ. Big Fatty's also has a crowler pit, where you can get freshly canned beer to-go!
Enjoy a modern take on Mexican food in a fun atmosphere.
Cozy cocktail bar with delicious drinks!
A favorite of Tom's! River Roost shares a parking lot with Big Fatty's - you can get cans or growlers to-go here.
Great food and great vibes. Worthy Kitchen is very popular (for good reason), so make a reservation if interested!
A cute cafe for coffee or lunch, right in downtown Woodstock.
Great restaurant overlooking Dartmouth's Green and Baker Tower. Get the Hanover burger - our personal favorite.
An iconic institution for Dartmouth students. They don't take reservations, so you have to wait in line, but it is worth the wait. You can also forgo the wait and grab some of their homemade desserts from the counter (the donuts are the best).
For our fellow Dartmouth grads - this is the new ice cream place up in Hanover. Get the maple creamee!
Famous for their homemade bread and honey butter, $3 margarita, and Dartmouth memorabilia.
A Kannam family favorite! Awesome brunch, salad bar, and of course, steak.
A beautiful spot to walk around or take a hike. There is also an overlook bridge with a stunning view of the gorge!
We've spent many a summer Saturday at the Norwich Farmers Market - would highly recommend stopping by on the morning of our wedding.
A short hike that ends with climbing up a fire tower, which serves as a shortcut for incredible views.
There is a beer hall with food and drinks, as well as an outdoor beer garden with lawn games. Harpoon is also in the same plaza as a distillery that serves cocktails on site (Silo) and another Simon Pearce store!
Downtown Hanover has a quintessential, New England charm. Check out the Dartmouth Co-Op, Still North Books, and the Nugget. Dirt Cowboy and Umpleby's are classic cafe spots.
Rent kayaks or canoes and paddle along the Connecticut River!
Visit dear old Dartmouth while you are in the area. One of our favorite things to do is walk around Occom Pond - Pine Park is also beautiful and close by. Iconic buildings to visit border the green: Baker Tower and Dartmouth Hall. The Hood Museum has also been renovated!
Stroll through Woodstock's charming shops and restaurants. Some of our favorites include Vermont Flannel Company, Woodstock Scoops, the Yankee Bookshop, and F.H. Gillingham & Sons.
Check out Dan and Whit's - a general store with lots of personality and giant soft serve ice cream cones! Norwich is also home to the King Arthur Baking Company, the Norwich Bookstore, and Norwich Knits. For kids joining in on the festivities - the Montshire Museum is a really fun, hands-on science museum. Catherine grew up going there, and our flower girls also highly recommend it.
