What should i do if i can not make it?

Answer

You will definititely be missed! If you can not attend our wedding, please indicate "Will Not Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Life happens and things change. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending" but find that you will not be able to make it, please notify Cassidy as soon as you are aware.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation and listed when you RSVP.

Are Children Allowed at the Wedding?

Answer

We have chosen to make our special day an ADULTS-ONLY celebration. With the exception of those who have been asked to be in our wedding. We love your littles, there is no question about that! However, we would like our guests to fully immerse themselves in the joy of the occasion. We ask that you view the night as a date night and enjoy the adult beverages on us!

Answer

We are spoiled with your presence alone! Should you wish to honor us with a gift, we have registered with Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/theselhorsts2025). You can view these items linked in our Registry page in addition to items outside of Amazon. Contributions to our cash funds would be greatly appreciated and prefferred, as the memories created will be invaluable. We kindly ask that you do not provide us with a Zola gift card (or purchase the item through Zola) as we will shop any remaining items on Amazon or the original product site.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best Cocktail Attire for our Fall wedding. Please note cocktail attire is an elevated semi formal. Gentlemen - We ask that you wear a suit or dress pants and a blazer. Ladies - No short dresses. We kindly ask that you wear a dress at least knee length or longer. The ceremony & cocktail hour will be on grass. In addition, we expect you to dance the night away...DUH! Please be mindful of the shoe selection with these conditions.

IS THE WEDDING INDOOR OR OUTDOOR?

Answer

We are getting married at Cassidy's Childhood home. Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoor. October weather in Southern California can be unpredictable but will most likely be on the warmer side for the ceremony and will cool down by reception time. Please dress accordingly.

Where should I park?

Answer

We kindly ask you to park at the First Baptist Church of Glendora - 505 N Grand Ave, Glendora, CA 91741. Transportation will be provided for those in need from the church to the ceremony site. If you plan to leave your vehicle overnight, we ask that you park on the local surrounding streets to allow the church to conduct their Sunday Services the next morning.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The Ceremony will promptly start at 3:30 PM. We kindly ask that all guests are parked and making their way to the residence no later than 3:15. We ask that all guests will be seated by 3:30.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

A 60-minute cocktail hour will take place on the front lawn between the ceremony and reception where you can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, small bites and lawn games.

What time will your wedding reception end? Is there an after-party?

Answer

Because there are no venue restrictions on our backyard wedding, we do not have a time limit to our reception. Therefore, no after party has been arranged. Stay and celebrate as long as you are willing and able.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I'm in town for your wedding?

Answer

Many of our guests are local. For those of you who are not, please give us a call as we would love to personally tell you all about our favorite places.
