Camelback Mountain is located right in downtown Scottsdale and next to the Wedding Party House, it's one of our favorite hikes in the area and certainly one of the most popular! Fun and challenging, you can now hike up and down from either the Echo Canyon Trailhead (has a parking lot and easy to find) or the Cholla Trailhead. Expect a good amount of boulder climbing/scrambling from either starting point and throughout your hike, but you will have sweeping 360 views of the city when you summit! Bring plenty of water and proper shoes. You shouldn't have trouble Ubering here and getting picked up.
Another popular hike located just 20 minutes south of where all the Desert Mountain wedding activities will be taking place in Northern Scottsdale. A well maintained, moderate out and back hike with great views of the Sonoran desert and some of the pristine surrounding golf courses and homes.
Street-legal, self-guided ATV and UTVs! We've done the 4 hour tour through the Tonto National Forest, that was only a 10 minute ride from the shop. The trails go through the rugged Sonoran Desert and into the Mogollon Rim highlands, opening up at the Verde River. Definitely a fun adventure for a group!
A colorful counter-service café with some of the best breakfast/lunch options in Cave Creek! Located a few minutes west of Desert Mountain with lush garden seating. Every breakfast option hits, we haven't tried something we didn't like!
Wood-fired pizza, craft beer & cocktails, and a cute patio located right in Old Town!
A fun & trendy Mexican-Asian Fusion spot located in Paradise Valley that has the best bottomless brunch in town! Unlimited shared plates and desserts with a choice of entrée for $39 with an option for bottomless drinks. It's lively and good and they have sushi. We went here for brunch for Casey's 30th birthday celebration and have been for dinner as well!
Great Italian Delicatessen style restaurant with plenty of unique food items for purchase. Everything has an Italian flair especially the sandwich menu. The bread is made in house and the staff is as friendly as they are helpful!
A great deli for bagels or sandwiches located just south of Desert Mountain. A great stop before or after hiking Pinnacle Peak! It is a frequented spot by the Kozak's.
You've heard of it or seen it on insta, its fun, expensive and everything is on fire. Toca Modera is dinner and a show, with fire dancers and a clubby atmosphere. They've recently changed their menu to more of a "Mexican steakhouse" focus. Great for groups and the cocktails are some of our favorite in Old Town! We strongly recommend making a reservation well in advance if you plan to go here.
Upscale Mexican in a vibey space with lots of Mezcal cocktails. A great option for modern tacos in Old Town without the sticker shock of Toca. We recommend making a reservation in advance.
A must try for couples! An intimate 5 course tasting menu that changes seasonally ($110 pp). BYOB or purchase wine from the attached bottle shop. Don't let the unassuming strip mall location deter you, it is modest fine dining perfection! We strongly recommend making a reservation in advance.
Located inside the stylish Andaz Resort serving creative Mediterranean dishes. They have an amazing patio where you can catch the sunset against Camelback Mountain. A great spot for happy hour with live music and fun cocktails.
Come for the tableside Caesar, stay for the pastas! Sleek, modern Italian spot that's not inexpensive but also not pretentious located in Paradise Valley. We recommend making a reservation in advance.
Scottsdale's cocktail bar scene is sad, but this is a CAN'T MISS spot with 3 uniquely themed bars transporting you to a different atmosphere under one roof! (no food) UnderTow = old-world ship serving tiki-style drinks but not in a cheesy way Platform 18 = early 20th century train car with interactive "windows" that take you through the Rocky Mountains The Grey Hen RX = New Orleans inspired apothecary with bourbon and whiskey focused cocktails We recommend making a reservation for the specific bar you want to visit in advance.
Tiger Woods designed putting courses resembling small scale traditional golf courses. It can be pretty crowded but a fun group activity where you can order food and drinks directly to you!
