Parents of the Bride
I love my Mom and Dad. They have always taken us on adventures and like to have fun doing things with us kids. That being said, they still knew when it was important to be serious or strict with us kids. While I may not have always loved that side of things growing up, I am so grateful they raised us the way they did. My parents have taught us to be respectful and responsible and I am glad they did. Mom and Dad have always been my biggest supporters and encouragers. They have taught me to push my boundaries and strive for success. God truly blessed me with the parents I needed. I could not have asked for a more loving, supportive, or wiser set of parents.
Parents of the Groom
My Mom and Dad have been my biggest supporters for as long as I can remember. My guides when my path had wandered astray and comforters when life got tough. But perhaps most importantly they were and are my teachers. They have shown me everything that life can be. They have been my greatest blessing and I pray that one day I can be as good of a parent to my children as they were to me.
Officiant
Pastor Josh has been my mentor and teacher for years. He has been such a big part of making me the man I am today. Whether it was teaching me how to study the bible, how to apply it, or just laughing together, we always had a great time. He is more then just my mentor but is also one of my closest friends. I'm honored to have him as the officiant for our wedding.
Junior Bridesmaid
Addy is such a happy young girl! She is always excited to see me and bounces up and down with something new to show me or tell me about every time I see her. She was so excited when Carter and I got engaged. Her love for me and others just pours out of her. I am so glad to be gaining her as a little sister and to be able to have her be a part of the wedding!
Best Man
Eli is my closest friend and constant companion (not to mention my clone). He is always ready to take off on one my adventures. Whether it is playing board games, exploring in the woods, or anything else, he is excited to go. There is no one else that I would rather have as my best man.
Matron of Honor
Erinn has always been there for me, whether it was going on random adventures, riding roller-coasters, learning to show goats, or being a shoulder to cry on. She is wise and even when she has a million things going on, she manages to make time for her little sister. I love spending time with her and going out on our coffee dates together!
Groomsman
Caleb was always my "me too" growing up. What I did he did (or wanted to). Though there are times that I miss having a "me too" I wouldn't trade the man he has become for the world. I'm proud to call him my brother and honored to have him stand with me.
Bridesmaid
Caitlin is my oldest sister. She is so sweet and has the biggest heart of anyone I know. She always wants to know what's wrong and tries her best to help make things better. She is so fun to be with, from our sleep-overs downstairs in her room and late night movie watching to our hot tubbing and star gazing! I could not have asked for a more loving or sweeter older sister!
Groomsman
Collin and I became friends around the time Grace and I started dating. A fellow game enthusiast and strategist, Collin and I hit it off almost immediately. Always willing to try a new game and just as willing to try to crush me in a game as I am to crush him. I can't wait to call him my brother.
Bridesmaid
Emmaleah and I met several years ago at the Hudsonville fair. We became fast friends and once fair finished we were over at each other's houses all the time. Since then she has become my best friend and just recently my sister-in-law. I love this woman so much! She is so caring and such a joy to be around! We have laughed together, cried together, and just lived life together. She has been a wonderful friend over the last several years and I am so blessed to now be able to call her my sister.
Groomsman
Spencer and I have been close friends since we were little enough to be running around the backyard in our diapers. Many of my fondest memories of our childhood adventures are riding golf carts and bikes around Sandy Pines. He is also one of the few people who can truly challenge me in anything Star Wars.
Bridesmaid
Hannah is kind and fun-loving. She is always willing and eager to try anything Carter and I are doing. She loves learning the new strategy games we are playing and is thrilled to go exploring in the woods with us. I have never had any younger siblings so I am very excited and so blessed to be gaining her as a little sister!
Groomsman
I met Jacob the one year I played 78ers football. Three years later he was in my chemistry class at PTC and I invited him to our Thursday night bible study not realizing just how big a part of my life he would become. Now, Jacob is my bible study co-leader as well as one of my closest friends.
Bridesmaid
Betsy and I grew up in the same Church and became friends in high school. Over the years we have grown closer together and she has become one of my dearest friends. From hanging out and having bonfires to our fancy girls night dinners, we always have a great time together!
