Lyn and Miguel met in Amherst, MA during a night on the town! Their first interaction started as Carolyn immediately noticed Miguel's Jamaican accent as she is of the same descent. Consequently this sparked his curiosity. As the night went on, Miguel ended up helping Carolyn's very ill friend (she had a.....stomach bug) out of the night club safely and stayed with her while Carolyn went to collect her friend's belongings. Carolyn gave Miguel her number and instructed him to call her immediately if the ambulance came while she was on a scavenger hunt for the items. The next day, Miguel texted Lyn to ask how her friend was and also to 'shoot his shot'....which ended up getting shut down. Lyn explained that she was unavailable to become anything more than friends with him at the moment. Fast forward almost a year later and the two remained friends, checking in on each other on occasion. One day however, the roles were reversed and Lyn slid into Miguel's DM's to 'shoot her shot'. Luckily, she is not the kind of girl who misses when she shoots! The rest is history!
