We're getting married!

Jeff and Carolyn both swiped right on a dating app (modern romance at its finest!). Jeff asked Carolyn out several times, but Carolyn said no since she was getting over a cold. Finally, she said yes and the rest was history! They spent the night chatting over dinner and cocktails and never wanted the night to end. They met up the next morning for a dog walking date where Mika and Ralph got to meet. Their mutual love of dogs sealed the deal!

Jeff took Carolyn to the Dallas Arboretum to look at the Christmas decorations that were just put up that weekend. The day was supposed to be very cold, so Carolyn kept asking Jeff all week long if they should go a different weekend. Jeff finally convinced Carolyn to come along with the promise of a big peppermint mocha from Starbucks in her hand. The weather ended up being lovely that day! The pair walked around the gardens hand in hand until they arrived at a secluded section of the garden by the water. Jeff got down on one knee and asked Carolyn to be his wife. After a moment of shock, Carolyn said yes! Then Jeff whisked Carolyn away to a romantic French restaurant in Dallas where she arrived to a table with flowers and rose petals. They toasted to their new engagement while listening to live piano music and sharing an order of escargot (their favorite!). We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
