Important: We recommend to get the Grab application on your phone. It's like the uber app. Some Taxis can take you to a different or longer route to get more money so do be careful. This app will give you how much the ride is before you can accept it, so it's a fixed price.

A Phone that works in the Philippines

If your phone has an open line status, where you can insert a sim card and it'll work in another country- all you have to do is buy a sim card from the Philippines. But if your phone isn't, then we recommend you to buy any cheaper brand of smart phone (cost can be less than $100) from any mall (like Ayala Mall or SM Seaside Mall) and buy a sim card and load to text and call. You will also need a smart phone to download the grab app to call for transportation.

If you want a hotel near the wedding and reception venue and if you're worried about getting/booking an available car after the wedding. The van rental place we hired can only pick up guests staying in Rumah Highlands Hotel or Marco Polo Cebu Hotel and drop them off back to these hotels after the reception because of multiple trips they are making and the heavy traffic in the city.
