Carla was born in the Philippines and moved to Michigan when she was 16 years old and a fresh high school graduate. Caesar was at the young age of 19 years old and doing his own thing. Carla and Caesar had been passing by each other in Filipino parties, but they never had a chance to officially meet at that time. After three years and on one beautiful spring day, Carla was hanging out with her friends in the mall. Meanwhile, Carla's older brother, James, happened to be hanging out with one of his good friends who was, guess who everyone? Yup, Caesar. And where were they hanging out? Yup, in the same mall where Carla was. They both saw each other at the mall with their friends. Of course, big brother didn't want his guy friends to hang-out with his sister, so he refused to join his sister and her friends despite his guy friends wanting to do so. Big brother threw a fit and walked away from the group. Him and his guy friends, including Caesar, went separate ways from Carla and her friends. Little did big brother know, Caesar sneakily sent a message later that night to Carla on facebook messenger because of what happened that night--------and that started the many many many many long facebook messages between them and they started dating (this incident happened in May, 2013 which is almost exactly 10 years from 2023 which is when their wedding is). Unfortunately, Carla's parents were against her dating until she finished her nursing program. So what did they do? Did they break up till Carla gets done with school? You got that right! They secretly dated for a year. They had to pretend they were "just friends" in front of their families, friends, and during Filipino parties. But of course, they got caught in the end.And Caesar had to face Carla's parents and tell the truth. They both promised her parents to make sure that Carla's studies would be the top priority. Fast forward to now, they are both registered nurses with two adorable dogs. They both like to go on new adventures, travel, spend time together surrounded with nature, and hiking/backpacking of course.
