Great question! We will have shuttles available to pick up guests at The Lodge at Vail and drop off at Camp Hale. Those shuttles will also bring guests back to The Lodge after the wedding. It's about a 30 min drive. The Lodge at Vail is centrally located within Vail and walkable from most locations around Vail Village.
Yes! There is parking at the venue so if you'd prefer to drive that is an option. However, we highly encourage taking the guest shuttles as it is in a remote location. Early shuttle departures will begin after dinner for those looking to leave early.
Cocktail attire- we will be outside and walking on grass, so take that into consideration with shoe choices! It can also cools down quite a bit when the sun goes down, so you may want to bring a light layer if you tend to get cold.
If you'd like to stay walking distance to wedding events and shuttles, we recommend staying in Vail Village, however there are lots of areas nearby that are worth a visit as well! Vail Village – The heart of it all. Walkable, energetic, and full of restaurants & shopping. The welcome event on Thurs, 8/7, will be in Vail Village. Lionshead – Quieter but still central. Close to the Eagle Bahn Gondola, bike paths, and a little more relaxed. Avon – a 10–15 minute drive west of Vail. Riverfront parks, restaurants, and quick access to Beaver Creek. Edwards – Another 10–15 minute drive from Vail, with a charming downtown, boutiques, and great food. A local, laid-back feel perfect for longer stays or groups.
While we really love all of your cute little ones, this is an adults only affair!
