Martin and Cameron met online in July 2015 and clicked instantly. They spent a week talking on the phone for hours every night before finally having their first date at a Nashville Sounds game. After that, they had a whirlwind romance and dated for a little while, but it just wasn't the right time for them and they decided to go their separate ways. They remained "friends" and talked on and off through Facebook, but mostly just to say "Happy Birthday". Fast-forward 2 years, they decided to catch up over dinner. They met up at Jim N Nicks where they had gone on their second date (conveniently picked by Cameron) and found that the old sparks were still there, so they decided to start dating again. After they started dating again, It didn't take long to become a couple and to say "I love you", and it didn't take much longer after that to start talking about getting married. Once you find your person, you just know. So in his apartment on May 20, 2018, Martin got down on his knees and asked Cameron to be his wife. She first replied "shut up" because she didn't realize he was actually proposing (mostly because he quoted the Deadpool movie), but then she got herself together and said "yes".
