2018 Cameron and Kennedy crossed paths several times during their first two years of college. They also had several classes together but never interacted. 2019 Their first interaction happened on Halloween while Kennedy was leaving the park and accidentally hit a car while backing out. Kennedy then saw Cameron walking and yelled for him to come over and check if she left a dent when he said no, she thanked him and sped off. Then Covid happened and everyone was sent home. 2020 Since Covid happened, Kennedy was moved to being a resident assistant at the apartments for the next year and was placed in the same building and next door to Cameron. They met again while moving into their apartments, Cameron offered to help Kennedy move but she declined saying that she’s a strong independent woman. They started hanging out due to their respective roommates, Cameron was friends with Kennedy’s roommate Carrie and Kennedy was friends with Cameron’s roommate Harold. Kennedy and Cameron bonded over watching Criminal Minds and seeing who could finish the series faster. Cameron and Kennedy eventually became friends and would occasionally hang out and when Cameron said he had got stood up on a date Kennedy offered to take him on a friend date but he declined. While Kennedy was working at Chilis, she ran into some friends and Cameron’s fraternity brothers and said that she thought Cameron was cute and that he turned her down for a friend date. Cameron’s fraternity brothers told Cameron that he should ask Kennedy out and that she was interested. Cameron slid into Kennedy’s DMs to ask if the date was still available. Cameron and Kennedy shared their first date at a Cracker Barrel at 8am. Cameron officially asked Kennedy out on November 21, 2020. They finished watching Criminal Minds together. Cameron and Kennedy graduated college in May 2022 and began long distance dating. January 2023, Kennedy accepted a job closer to Cameron and they moved into together with Kennedy’s dog Io. April 2024, Kennedy got Cameron a dog for his birthday and he named her Maple. December 2024, Cameron asked Kennedy to marry him and she said 'Yes'.
