Maid of Honor
Claire is my older sister so therefore I got many threats if I did not make her my Maid of Honor. But in all honesty, she is an incredible woman that has been there for me in so many ways even when I didn't think I needed anything. She has grown from so many things and kicked ass the whole way. She's now working at a salon so she can give me free facials and do my makeup for the rest of her life (she's sooo giving).
Best Man
Not to be confused with the smaller human that he is holding, Zachary is my older brother. Can you imagine how upsetting his first 6 years of life must have been without me. Thankfully for him, and the rest of the world, I was eventually born. Over the years we have enjoyed each other more than in our youth, and I am lucky enough to have him as my Best Man
Bridesmaid
Kenzie and I met around Middle School, so you know we are a good time. She is also a cousin of mine through marriage, adoption and and a murder, you know family. Unfortunately not much blood, but we have done a few blood oaths so that counts right? Kenzie went to TCU for a film degree and now has a big boy job at Disney working with the Mouse. She has always been a fierce, sexy warrior standing up for what she believes in and will gallantly run to my side even when if I just need a cup of coffee.
Groomsman
History has long debated whether or not, I have known Zachary or Blake longer. Being born only a month apart will do that to you. Blake has been my bestest friend in the whole world since before we could talk. We would just stare lovingly in each others' eyes and drool while our parents practiced singing in the church choir. Even though we live 672 miles apart, we have managed to keep in touch and remain in each others' live. Truly a love story for the ages.
Bridesmaid
Ashlyn is Cameron's sister so after a few stronggg hints I was inclined to add her into my bridal party. When we first met it was love at first sight, and working together during the summer of 2019 our love affair blossomed. Unfortunately, we had to keep our love a secret but not a day goes by where I don't yearn for her. Ashlyn is still in school right now working towards becoming a swanky, badass lawyer. Which fits well since she grew up with an older brother and Cameron, who lives to talk circles around people.
Groomswoman
Danielle and I became friends during our studies at APU. Without Danielle in my life, I still would have passed all of my classes, but I wouldn't have had nearly as much fun doing it. Studying Ministry can become difficult when you already know all the answers, but we were able to make it fun, and not just when we put wine in our water bottles. It was Jesus' first miracle, and the miracle we needed to get through that 3 hour long class. She was the perfect balance that I needed to have fun, and still get work done.
Bridesmaid
Gwen and I first bonded through our introversion, panic attacks, and our love for being badass. The first time I saw Gwen was on our high school's track and the clouds parted and a single beam of light shown down from heaven onto this guy named Bill, but she quickly shoved him out of the way and I knew she was the one. Since then we have journeyed through college, boyfriends, and her setting me up on an awkward blind date. But through that we prevailed and have only grown stronger, waiting for our moment to strike.
Groomsman
I know what you're thinking; how in the world did I find tennis star Cameron Backman to be one of my groomsman?? Well, I'll let you in on a little secret. Ready? We have the SAME NAME. GASP, I know! We lived on the same Hall at APU, and decided that we had to be best friends, because Camerons always stick together. Our mutual love of board games, ultimate frisbee, and being named Cameron has cultivated our relationship, and gives us the strength to endure anything that life might throw at us. For after all, In Cameron We Trust
Bridesmaid
Mayela and I met in the most glorious place in the world, math class. Our love of numbers, sugar addictions, and ability to be immeasurably awesome pulled us together like a magnet toward another magnet and another magnet. That's three magnets. That's how I knew this was real. She and I slayed beasts and destroyed college like when you accidentally hit a bird while driving and you don't know if you should pull over. She is an amazing strong amazon of a woman and I am so grateful to have her in my life.
Groomswoman
Rachel and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. That memory only goes back to Freshman year of College when we met, but it still feels like it should count for something. Some of my favorite memories of Senior year was our weekly Tea Times where we would drink tea, eat a snack, and complain about the world together. Now that she is living in New York, it does not happen nearly as often as it should, but I still have my hopes up that she will see sense and move back to LA
Bridesmaid
Brynn and I have known each other since our parents got married on the same day and we were just a twinkle in our dad's eyes. With only 2 weeks apart from our births (I'm older), living only 2 blocks away, going to the same schools, and going to the same church, you could say we are close. Brynn and I are wombs to tombs and when the Great Battle finally comes as the prophecy states one of us must die while the other lives, though never whole again. But that's not for like another 1,000 years so we cool.
Groomsman
My first thought when I met Bryce was, "He seems like a good time." Lo and Behold I was right. My bright star in the evening, and my warming sun during the day, Bryce is always down for card games, board games, playing outside, or just drinking and talking. A friend for the ages, and a mustache I will always envy; Bryce is a good time.
Bridesmaid
Kelly is one of my oldest friends, being birthed a month before me she as always guided me through life with her wise sage advice. Although she dropped the ball when we both decided to do cross country in high school. Then to make matters worse she decided to go to college in Oregon?? Wtf is in Oregon...well Kelly in all her vast knowledge knew I would find Cameron and when visiting him I could also see her. Kelly will always be one of my lifelong friends and it's not just because she has a pool.
Groomswoman
Dayna Huey, or "Dayna Sith lord" (as she is known in my phone contacts) and I bonded over something truly special when we were awkward Freshman in high school: Ultimate Frisbee. I hope that doesn't come as too great a shock to you all. At any rate it was our mutual love for frisbees, Star Wars, Lord of The Rings, Avatar the Last Airbender, Doctor Who, and anything else that I could talk about for daaaaays were the ways that Dayna and I became friends. Not to mention the time where we spent all day watching Disney Channel movies, because we wanted to. Dayna is a bright spot in the world, even if we would be the villains together in most stories...
Bridesmaid
Gabby decided to bless my life around the same time I met Cameron, however much to my surprise when I found out her and Cameron had been married for 30 years at this point. Camp was a lawless world that governed who was together. So when campers asked them, they told the gods they were married. Thus sealing their fate for all eternity, but every marriage needs a mistress. Gabby liked me though, claiming me as her favorite of Cameron's concubines. That connection has kept us close throughout the years, bringing us to the day where I take over as Cameron's wife.
Groomsman
Thomas and I met just moments before I first saw Becca in 2018 at Mount Hermon, and now He and I are living together in Glendale. I think I still get residual good vibes about him from that moment, but he's also one of my tallest friends, and it's nice to have someone around who can reach the top shelf anywhere we go. I would never tell him to his face, but he's a joy to be around, I love every moment together, and I couldn't ask for a better second Father for my cat son Charles. And ladies if you want a man that has been to the Oscars; Thomas is single.
Bridesmaid
Emma and I met when she was in the 8th grade and like the superior 10th grader that I was, I ignored her. Until I reached senior year and she got a bit more cool. Then fast forward two years later while Cameron was doing everything in his power to get my attention in Santa Cruz, she put the moves on my brother. The nerve! And then doesn't even tell me! I found out via a third party...A THIRD PARTY like a stalking ex. At least she makes him happy, something I've only seen guitars do before.
Groomsman
Logan...Gogan...Gogurt the man staring seductively into the camera. Ah Gogurt, my roommate from college, and my other tall friend. I must have a type when it comes to roommates. Hopefully Becca gets her growth spurt soon. Logan was the greatest encourager to get my homework done in college, because that meant we could then play videogames together. This is still how we pass the time, and stay in touch. A tall man with a big heart, and a knack for making good food. Did I mention that he's single ladies?
