Great question! While we're really not in the business of telling folks what to wear, we envision attire to fall within the "Spring Wedding Cocktail Casual" category. Phew. That's a mouthful. I think people are just smushing words together at this point. What does that even mean, you might ask? Here's a Pinterest board with examples: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/477100154281447804/ (Yes, we know "casual" is a misnomer, but hey, we didn't invent the term, and we think it looks nice). When it gets down to brass tacks, we want you to be comfortable above all else. For men, this means that ties are optional, and if you get too warm, please please please feel free to take off your jacket. For women, remember you're going to be riding on a chairlift, sitting on top of a mountain, and walking on moderately uneven ground- make sure your shoes are comfy.
While we love and adore all of our friends and their children, we would appreciate if you made separate arrangements for child care during the event, as we cannot accommodate them at the ceremony or reception. Thank you for understanding!
This one is a little complicated, but what it boils down to is that if the envelope that your invitation arrived in was addressed to "<YOUR NAME> and Guest", then yes you may. Otherwise, we respectfully ask that you arrive on your own (or in a carpool with other guests), and enjoy the evening with the other invitees!
