Ceremony

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are not necessary. Suits and cocktail dresses are plenty!
Attire: It will be Maine in October- bring a sweater! The ceremony will be outdoors, and some parts of the reception and cocktail hour may take place on the terrace. We also advise against high heels and stilettos- we'll be getting married in the back yard, which is grassy. We don't want to ruin your nice shoes! And while the Bride and Groom are flattered that you all want to match the color palette, you are not required to buy a new dress for this occasion! You can check out an example of our color palette on our pictures tab but, again, feel no pressure to get something new! If you arrive early, there will be some drinks served prior to the ceremony and time to wander the estate. The Ceremony will begin promptly at the time listed. If you arrive after the ceremony has begun, please stay aloft on the porch and do not take a seat on the lawn.
Cocktail Hour

Don't Do a Costume Change!
Immediately following the ceremony, the Bride and Groom will be signing their wedding license and taking pictures. Some guests may be invited to join pictures. During this time, we invite all our guests to relax on the terrace with a drink and light appetizers. This is a great time to meet family members you have yet to get acquainted with, and reconnect with old friends. Stay within shouting distance- we might want you for pictures! Please note that we are stocking our own bar with essentials that the bride and groom love. If you have very particular taste in drinks, we recommend you bring your own booze! Our bar can accept and serve whatever you bring (though, please don't bring a complicated cocktail recipe to confuse our bar staff).
Reception Dinner

Seriously, Don't Change Your Clothes!
If you have any allergies, please be specific! Any airborne allergies will be taken very seriously. Please note if you will be aggravated by nuts, coconut, etc. Weather permitting, we will be eating outside on the lawn. Reminder to bring that sweater.

Take that tie off. It's PARTY TIME.
The Reception will take place throughout the house- we've got a hot tub, an arcade room, a cinema, a billiards loft, and plenty other awesome amenities to take advantage of. DJ Spotify will be spinning some great tunes (and we'd love your input on some music to be included). The bar will be open, desserts will be lain out, and we'll only play slow songs like a few times. Nine times. Okay, nineteen times. Please indicate your favorite dessert preference below, so we know what to order more of! We'll have extras of everything, but want to make sure everyone gets at least 1 of what they love the most. [Again, make sure you list any allergies. Please note, we are considering interesting flavors and desserts, so allergens to consider include chocolate, orange, gluten, dairy, nuts (pine and tree), etc.]

Maybe bring your PJs or Sweats
It's Clean Up Time! Seriously, we need to be out of this house by 11am tomorrow! Please stay and help us clean up a little so that the Bride and Groom don't need to stay up all night the day of their wedding to do it themselves. Any and all help is appreciated, and you're welcome to help yourself to leftover food and drink while you clean (so long as you are drinking safely).
