We’re gonna bring it way back. Their relationship started the good, old fashioned way—on the four square court at school. The funny part is this isn’t a sandbox romance. It was 2006. Ross was a Junior and Brynn a Senior. Insert mutual friend, Kyle Becker, who asked Ross to join a game of four square. What happens next will turn your heart into mush. “I looked over&it was like I got shot in the chest. I mean, fireworks moment. She was wearing a light, baby blue polo shirt with white pants&white Adidas with baby blue stripes. Hair in a ponytail. No bangs. Had me at hello”. Direct quote from the groom. I know, I can’t. This wedding will 100% percent require waterproof mascara. (By the way, if you can’t already tell, this isn’t being written by the bride. My name is Ally (WASSUPPP!) and I’m one of Brynn’s best friends!) Now back to the good stuff. Brynn graduated&went off to FGCU. They remained friends&their paths crossed often. Once during a group outing, Ross blurted out “you look very beautiful tonight, Brynn”. This was in 2008. I’m swooning, the build up is real. Moving on—meet Kyle Matera. Brynn and Kyle M took Spanish together in college. He tells her he is moving in with two guys she knew—Ross & Kyle B! ¡Ay Dios Mio! Their friend groups collided and from there, their connection grew. Fast forward to 2012. Brynn is getting ready to graduate&talking about moving. Ross starts to realize that his feelings for Brynn are outside of the realm of “just friends” and by 2013 he shares those feelings with Brynn. Her reaction? “Totally thrown off and also already in love with him at the same time”. *squeal* I love a good love story, don’t you? Over the last six years, that connection grew into a solid foundation that supported two rounds of long distance, becoming cat parents, a first apartment, new jobs, a whole lotta love, and all the stuff in between. How lucky are we to be able to witness this love story come full circle as Brynn & Ross exchange vows in November?!
