Every great love story has a beginning, and ours started in October 2022 in the most Mississippi way possible—at a tailgate. We first met at The Junction in Starkville before a football game, surrounded by maroon and white and the energy that only a Mississippi State Saturday can bring. What began as a simple conversation quickly felt like something more. There was an instant comfort, an ease that made it feel like we’d known each other far longer than just that afternoon. Just days after we met, Trevor invited Brylie down for a masquerade ball—but the day before the event, we went on our first official date. That first date truly captured who we are. We went deer hunting together, harvested a deer, and later that evening cooked and ate the backstraps. Somewhere between the quiet of the woods and sharing a meal we had earned together, we knew this was something special. It wasn’t fancy—but it was genuine, meaningful, and felt just like home. A few more dates followed on the Pascagoula River—days spent outdoors, talking, laughing, and getting to know each other in the most natural way. Those moments, simple and unfiltered, became the foundation of what we were building together. From the very beginning, our relationship has been grounded in faith. We believe God placed us in each other’s lives at exactly the right time, and through every season, He has guided our steps with purpose and grace. Our faith has taught us the importance of patience, selflessness, and unconditional love, reminding us daily that this journey is bigger than just the two of us—it is a covenant rooted in His plan. Since then, life has taken us everywhere from the Pascagoula riverbanks to long days and nights at the ball fields. Through busy seasons, travel, and everyday moments, we’ve learned what it truly means to support one another and grow as a team. Along the way, we added one more very important member to our family—our puppy, Romy—who quickly stole our hearts and made life even sweeter. What started at a tailgate has turned into a life filled with adventure, faith, laughter, and love.
