We met on Hinge, a dating app, while we were both living in the Indy area. It was right before Christmas, and we had initially planned to meet in person for the first time on December 17th. We wanted to see Christmas lights at the state fairgrounds. However, that date didn't end up working out, so we decided our first date would be his FAMILY'S Christmas dinner on the 19th. We began by meeting at Keystone Fashion Mall, followed by dinner at Weber Grill in Downtown Indy. The date may or may not have ended with the most awkward hug ever. It's safe to say we're both very grateful for that awkward hug.
The weekend started just as many others have- a trip to Disney World. Disney World is our favorite place to be together, but this weekend in particular was the most exceptional. It started as a normal morning headed into Magic Kingdom and strolling (or in Bryce's case, rushing) down Main Street, USA. When we reached the castle, Bryce got down on one knee and said, "I think you know what I'm about to ask you." The rest is history. Let's not forget that Lynsee's family was waiting in the park to surprise us, but Lynsee had to restart her makeup... making her late to her own proposal. Bryce was also stopped by Disney security walking through the metal detector... for the ring box in his bag. We celebrated the day with Mickey & friends and a photoshoot in the most magical place on earth with people we love. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect start to forever!
