Melanie and Bryan’s love story started back in February 2013 at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. A mutual friend, Alexa, who worked with Bryan at the time, gave Melanie’s number to him. Bryan and Melanie continued to text back and forth and a week later they went out on their first date in Union Square. Melanie was ‘fashionably late’, but Bryan was patient as can be, hoping it would be worth it. And it was worth it as they had an amazing first date. A month later, Bryan asked Melanie to be his girlfriend. And the rest, as they say, was history. After nearly 9 years of dating and traveling the world together, they are ready to tie the knot!

Over the course of 9 years, Melanie and Bryan shared their love of travel together. Of all the places they have been to, their favorite place has always been Maui, Hawaii. They have been there several times and always found and enjoyed the beauty of this Hawaiian Island. In May 2021, they visited once again and went on one of their favorite hikes to Waimoku Falls. After a 4 hour hike to the base of the 400 ft tall waterfall, Bryan got on one knee and proposed. He also succeeded in surprising Melanie (as well as her sister and friends!) as no one knew, except her parents, who he had asked for their blessing before the trip. They look forward to sharing a special day with their loved ones in September 2022!
