This is one of Andrea and Chris's favorite places to stop by when in the St. Louis area. There are many boutiques and restaurants along the Missouri River. Frankie Tocco's Pizzeria located on St. Charles Historic Main Street is always a must have for Andrea and Chris.

Want to spend some time outdoors? Hiking is one of Andrea and Chris's favorite hobbies. Busch Wildlife has various hiking trails and fishing lakes. You can also drive through the scenic area for a little auto tour. Fun fact, there are 100 old bunkers formerly used for the storage of TNT still in the area.
St. Louis is the Gateway to the West. The Gateway Arch is one of St. Louis's biggest tourist attractions. You can schedule a tram ride up inside of the Arch to the top, visit the museum, check out the Old Courthouse, or book a Riverboat Cruise. Fun fact, Chris has yet to actually go and experience this iconic national landmark.
What used to be an old train station is now home to a variety of attractions and eateries, including the St. Louis Aquarium and The Wheel.
St. Louis is home of the Budweiser. Stop by for a tour of the brewery, where you will get to meet the famous Clydesdale, see the production and bottling process, and finish up with a complimentary beer in the Beer Garden. Worked up an appetite? No worries! Head over to Blues City Deli for some delicious lunch.

Let's see who does BBQ better, Missouri or Texas. St. Louis is known for their "STL Style BBQ." The sauce is definitely a sweeter flavor compared to Texas's spicy style. If you decide to visit Pappy's, be sure to get there early as the line usually flows out the door and they will often sell out. There are 2 locations in the area, St. Louis and St. Peters.
Another great STL BBQ option. There are a couple locations in the area, O'Fallon, St. Charles, Wentzville, and St. Louis. Fun fact, once while driving back from an AR trip, Chris convinced Andrea that driving 2 hours out of the way to experience Memphis BBQ was a great idea. Chris is a big foodie and thoroughly loves to experience the various eateries whenever he travels.
For those staying in one of the listed hotels, this will be the immediate surrounding area. Here you will find an abundance of restaurants, shops, outlet malls, and The District, which includes The Factory, Main Event, and Top Golf.
MIZ-ZOU, let's go Missouri Tigers! Mizzou, Andrea and Chris's alma mater will be playing their homecoming game, Saturday, October 22nd. Visit any sports bar to catch the game on TV or even make a trip to Columbia, MO to see what all the hype is about.
