Maid of Honor
I met Peyton my sophomore year of college at The University of Louisville during sorority recruitment. On the last night of recruitment, sororities have something called preference night which is a more serious night and the night that girls typically make their choice. There are typically light snacks and refreshments in each sorority's house. We were told that we should wait for our guest to eat before taking a bite of our snack, however the cookies we had that year looked SO good. I couldn't wait! So, I looked at Peyton and I said, "Hey, will you take a bite of that cookie so I can too?" and the rest is pretty much history. We spent countless nights getting into crazy antics in college and she has been someone I can truly count on when things get tough.

I met Anne, Troy’s sister, a little after Troy and I become official since she was away at boarding school. I remember when I met Anne I thought she was WAY too cool to be my friend. However, the best thing about Anne is that she never makes anyone feel like aren't cool enough. Anne exudes an energy that makes everyone around her feel instantaneously extraordinary, heard, and accepted. After meeting, we became fast friends and have had some of the craziest adventures over the past six and half years. Over the last few years we’ve really had the chance to get closer than ever and she’s been such a great shoulder to lean on when Troy is away.

Gabbie and I met as random roommates in college. She probably thought I was a lunatic due to the fact that I decided to bleach all my hair about two weeks into living together, but she stuck around with me anyway for whatever reason! Gabbie and I had so many fun nights out, study sessions in the library that mostly involved her trying to explain National Security Policy to me ( Glad that’s over!), and summer days at the pool! I’ve loved our fun times visiting in Chicago now that Gabbie is in law school there and I look forward to many more long weekends ahead. Gabbie may have been a random roommate but our friendship is nothing of the sort! I can’t wait to have her with me on mine and Troy’s wedding day!

Jessalyn and I met in 8th Grade Seminar while I relentlessly talked to her in class until she finally gave in and invited my to come with her to a volleyball information session. After that I practically lived at her house in between school volleyball season and club volleyball we spent our time jamming out to tunes in her Mom’s van on the way to youth group and Moe’s Mondays. Our friendship is something that is so special to me. Jessalyn truly has a heart of gold. She is a friend you can always count on and when you go a few months without seeing one another you can always pick back up where you left off. I’m so excited to have her stand by my side on our special day!
Bridesmaid
Madysan and I met through Theta. Madysan and I had some fun times in college, but got a chance to get really close after I graduated spending our time brunchin’, getting nails done or going to work out classes. Madysan is such a fun friend to have because she is always down to try anything new and she is such a positive light in any situation. I’ve loved having her as a friend and can’t wait to have her be a part of our big day!
